I saw this gadget on Amazon for catching spiders. It is a stick with fibre optic strands and you catch the spider and throw it out. I have ordered one for both my mum and me.

We both are scared of spiders and as we both live alone we have no men to eject the little blighters.

My mum found this really distressing and at first she used to spray the spider with shaving foam to stop it running off then try and capture it. There seems to be loads of spiders about at the moment and I hate seeing them when I'm in the shower. I turned the kitchen light on yesterday and a tarantula was right near my hand. Yuck.

I just hope the spider catchers work or I will have to find something else to eject them with.
